Welcome to Minibugs Liskeard
Minibugs – A happy and caring place for mini people to learn, play and grow.
Minibugs Nurseries (Liskeard) is based in the grounds of Liskeard Hillfort Primary School.
Following significant investment and a full refurbishment in 2016, our nursery provides modern facilities and a stimulating and nurturing Early Years environment for children between the ages of three months and five years.

Putting your mini person first – Our children are at the heart of our nursery, and activities are created based on their interests, thoughts and ideas.
Places to Learn, Play and Grow – Our rooms are full of natural play resources to help your child’s imagination thrive, giving them endless learning opportunities in a calming and happy setting
Children can enjoy outdoor learning and play every day in our fantastic outdoor play and activity areas. We encourage free-flow play and our children to enjoy being creative and adventurous both indoors and outdoors.
Co-located on the site of Liskeard Hillfort Primary School we work with our primary neighbours to support an easy and happy transition when it’s time for your child to start school.
Involving you every step of the way…
Parent partnerships are so important to us. Our nursery team will keep you updated on daily activities and observations and work with parents to monitor and evidence your child’s individual learning journey.
Our friendly staff
We only employ staff who understand our childcare philosophy, believe in it themselves and love working with children and supporting them in developing their individual personalities and interests.
Every child has a key person who will be responsible for their care routines, plan activities to extend each child’s skills and knowledge focused on their interest and will be a parent / carers main point of contact at our nursery.
Our super Minibugs nursery team are all advanced paediatric first aid trained and receive regular safeguarding and early years’ child development training.
